This website's first twelve months

This website was launched on 20 November 2007. During its first twelve months it received more than 3700 visitors from a total of 95 countries. On average each visitor looked at 2.3 articles. The top five countries of origin were Australia 44%, USA 29%, UK 7%, Canada 4%, and India 2%. Access routes were direct 16%, referral 12%, search engine 72%.

From modest beginnings the hit rate is steadily increasing

In November 2008 the website was updated with a redesigned home page and a comprehensive index. Six new articles were added. Altogether there are now 90,000 words and more than 90 graphics, or six hours of critical reading. The new pictorial heading on the home page shows winter reflections in Lake Jualbup, Shenton Park WA.
